If you're the one that has Elliott. Don't do it. Not in a one-for-one trade.
C.J. Anderson is a boom or bust back. Last season he had 4 games with 10+ fantasy points. But he also had fantasy games of 3, 4 and 6.
He has struggled to hold on to the starting position for Denver the last three seasons.
He's coming off injury.
He'll end up splitting touches with Devontae Booker (when he gets back) and Jamaal Charles.
With Mike McCoy, it is likely that Denver will pass more than they passed last season.
You can still get nine quality starts from Elliott when he gets back. And he is a plug n play back. You're not checking matchups with him.
The only way i would consider the trade would be in a really big league where there are not free agents out there. But in a 10 or 12 team league. You should be able to find a replacement.
And for those that haven't drafted yet, if you're gonna' pick Elliott, make sure you get a fill in for the beginning of the season.
