Jacobs has a higher ceiling. We still don't know what the Raider offense will be at its peak. But Jacobs is young and healthy.
Gurley has the higher floor. I expect him to keep the same production. The team will try to protect his knee from wear and tear. And he doesn't seem as explosive. So I don't expect him to "go off" at any point this season.
So if you're already on top of your league, you may play it safe and go with Gurley. But if your team needs a push, I'd take a chance on Jacobs.
